GOOD TO KNOW
Questions people ask about mountain bikes.
See all 6 questionsHide questions
Which mountain bike should I buy?
Zorq: the lowest price, and it comes in four wheel sizes. Xpand: folds, so it takes less space. Want gears? Pick the Zorq+ or Xpand+, both with 21 gears.
Which mountain bikes fold?
The Xpand and Xpand+ fold, so they take less space at home or at the office.
Do they all have suspension?
Yes, all four have front suspension. Lockout, which lets you firm it up on smooth roads, comes on the Xpand+, and on the Zorq and Zorq+ in 26, 27.5 and 29 inch sizes.
Which one is best for hills?
Pick one with gears: the Zorq+ (Shimano Tourney 21-speed) or the Xpand+ (Shimano Altus 21-speed).
I want electric help. What should I look at?
See our electric cycles. The Zorq EV has wide tyres and a motor, and the X Series is a full-size electric bike that folds.
Where can I try one?
