Do I need a licence to ride a Zorq EV?
No. Both the Zorq EV and EV+ have a 250 W motor, and you don't need a licence or registration to ride them.
How far does it go on one charge?
The Zorq EV goes up to 60 km and the Zorq EV+ up to 75 km, on pedal assist. Real range depends on rider weight, the road and the assist level you use.
How long does it take to charge?
About 5 hours for the Zorq EV and about 6 hours for the EV+, from a normal home socket. The Zorq EV battery comes out, so you can charge it at your desk too.
Zorq EV or Zorq EV+: which should I buy?
The Zorq EV is for daily city rides on mostly flat roads. Pick the EV+ for longer rides or hills: it has a bigger 13 Ah battery, Shimano 7-speed gears and, on 26-inch wheels and up, suspension you can lock for smooth roads.
Can I ride it in the rain?
Yes. The electronics are sealed to IP65 against water and dust, so rain and muddy roads are fine.
What are PulsePods?
Hornback's own lights, built into the handlebar grips. They charge on their own and keep glowing even when the bike's battery is off.
Which wheel size should I choose?
The Zorq EV range comes in 24, 26, 27.5 and 29-inch wheels and fits riders from 4'5" to 6'3". Smaller wheels suit shorter riders and bigger wheels suit taller riders. Not sure? Try one at a dealer or ask us on chat.
Does the Zorq EV fold?
No. It has a regular, non-folding frame. If you need an e-cycle that folds, look at our X Series.
What warranty do I get?
A lifetime warranty on the frame and 2 years on the battery.
