Questions people ask about the Unibyk.
Do I need a licence or registration to ride it?
No. Both bikes have a 250 W motor and a top speed of 25 km/h, so under Indian rules they count as bicycles. No licence, registration or insurance is needed.
What is the difference between the Unibyk and the Unibyk+?
The Unibyk+ has a bigger 13 Ah battery for up to 75 km on pedal assist, Shimano Tourney 7-speed gears and FXK Pro suspension with lockout. The Unibyk has a 10.4 Ah battery for up to 60 km, a single speed and FXK suspension. Frame, motor, brakes, display and ride modes are the same.
How long does the battery take to charge?
About 5 hours for the Unibyk (10.4 Ah) and about 6 hours for the Unibyk+ (13 Ah). The battery is removable, so you can charge it at home or at your desk.
Who can ride the Unibyk?
Riders from 4'9" to 6'2" tall, up to 110 kg. The seat adjusts, and the frame is low so you do not have to lift your leg over the bike to get on.
What warranty do I get?
A lifetime warranty on the frame, plus warranty on the battery, motor and parts as per the Hornback warranty policy. Register your bike on our website after delivery.
Does it arrive assembled?
Yes, the Unibyk is delivered 95% assembled. Fit the pedals and handlebar, check the tyre pressure and ride.
