Hornback M1

Recently bought a Hornback M1 from a dealer in Kochi. Really like the folding mechanism of the bike. With a bit of practice it comes easy. And all parts used are of good quality. A few points for improvement. * While the product's USP is the folding mechanism and it works well too, it bit more care should be given to the rest of the bike's parts as well. When I received the shipped bike one of the gear parts was damaged (the derailer was bent out of shape). Thjis resulted in the gears slipping off when trying to change gears during riding. Upon talking with Hornback guys, they asked me to take it to the nearest bicycle shop, which I did and I had to replace the derailer. The shop guy also said you have to be careful while packing the bike for shipping. Possibly pack the gear area in Styrofoam or something. I have now shipped the bike abroad for my use there. Let us see how my packing fares against Hornback's * The seat cover was torn slightly upon receipt. Hornback agreed to replace it and as of the time of writing this it is still in transit. Almost 3 weeks since I reported the Issue. I don't think I will be able to receive it when it comes as I will be leaving home tomorrow. * The reflector on the tyre came off on the first ride itself. The plastic quality seemed very poor Also a shout out to the reseller in Kochi who was vey responsive and helpful during all the issues.
