How does the Xpand+ fold?
The frame folds in half at the middle, and the handlebar and pedals fold too. You open the lock and fold it with one hand. Folded, it is 120 cm long and 85 cm high.
Is a folding frame strong enough?
Yes. The frame is made of composite stainless and alloy steel, with SS304 stainless steel joints at the fold, and it has a lifetime frame warranty.
Xpand or Xpand+: which should I buy?
Xpand+: Shimano Altus 21-speed gears and FXK Pro suspension with lockout, for hills and longer rides. Xpand: single speed and FXK front suspension, simple to ride and easy to look after.
Can I ride it on trails?
Yes. It has 2.1-inch knobby tyres, 100 mm front suspension with lockout, 21 gears and dual disc brakes, for city roads, rough roads and trails.
Which size should I choose?
Medium for riders 4'11" to 5'4". Large for riders 5'5" to 6'2". If you are close to 5'5", try both at a dealer.
How is it delivered?
It comes 98% assembled. You unfold it and make a few small adjustments. Want it ready to ride? Under Add-ons, tick "Fully assembled delivery".
